Children of Eli and Jane appear to be:

Selma born c1854 (Selina?) who married Robert Wilson and had a son Walter born c1879. Walter married Mima Bray Jan. 16, 1901 Bolsover.

Jane Ann born c1856

Elizabeth Maria born June 29, 1858 Port Hope. She married John Littlejohn Feb. 13, 1878 Lindsay. They were living in Mariposa in 1881 and had a daughter Edith born c1880.

Thomas John born July 1860 Lindsay married Wilmont Malissa Littlejohn and had son Eli Apr. 23, 1881 Lindsay. Can't find them on 1881 census.

Matilda born June 22, 1864 bapt. Jan. 25, 1865 Ops Twp. Married Robert Burton Feb. 16, 1887 Cambray, Victoria Co. Children were Ethel May born May 4, 1889 died May 22 1918 Toronto married Henry Benjamin Bryan July 1, 1905 Fenelon Falls; Minnie Vinetta Burton born Sept. 3, 1890 Fenelon.

Minnie Venetta Budd born 16 July 1873 married Thomas Littlejohns

Charlotte born c1876. She was living with her mother and step-father in 1881.

The fact that Matilda named her daughter Minnie Vinetta would seem proof that this is the right family. Where were the unmarried children in 1881? Why aren't they showing up on the census? Were they fostered out to family members (married siblings?) and listed under different surnames? Were they in the USA?

On the IGI that there was an Eli Budd bapt. Aug. 31, 1828 Launcells, Cornwall s/o John and Joanna. Other children were Mary Ann Frances 1830, Thomas 1809 and 1818, Sampson 1813 and June 17, 1832, Eliakim 1835, Richard 1815. No sign of a Samuel but may his name was originally Sampson. May not be the right faily but work checking out just in case.
